This pattern uses DC-Cross Stitches: Sk 2 sts, 1 dc in next st, go behind the stitch and crochet a dc in 2nd stitch going backwards. Insert the hook from front to back.

Row 1. Ch 30, turn, 1 hdc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 hdc in every ch to end, 5 hdc in last ch. Continue crochet underneath the stitches with 1 hdc in each hdc, end with 1 hdc in turning ch. Turn.

Row 2. 1 hdc in every hdc to the 5 dc cluster from previour row, in the next hdc crochet: 1 hdc, 2 hdc, 1 hdc, 2 hdc, 1 hdc, Continue crochet 1 hdc to end. Turn.

Row 3. Crochet 1 hdc in each hdc to the middle 2 hdc (tip of sole), 2 hdc in next 2 hdc, 1 hdc in remaining hdc to end. Turn.

Row 4. Crochet 1 hdc in each hdc to the midle where you crocheted 2 hdc in 2 hdc (all up 4 hdc). In the 4 hdc crochet: 2 hdc in each 4 hdc. Continue crochet 1 hdc to end. Turn.

Row 5. Crochet 1 hdc in each hdc all around. Turn.

Row 6. Slip stitch in the 1st 29 hdc, 2 hdc in the next 12 hdc, sl st in the remaining 29 hdc. Turn.

Row 7. Crochet slip stitch in 29 slip stitch, 1 hdc in 24 hdc, and sl st in remaining 29 slip stitch. Turn.

Row 8. Slip stitch in next 12 sl st, Ch 2, 1 dc in all the stitches until the remaining 11 sl sts, sl st in remaining sl st. Instead of turning, crochet across to other side and begin shaping heel. Crochet 16 sc across. Do not turn. In the next 11 sts crochet 4 sets of Dc-Cross stitches, sl st in ch 2. In the remaining dc we are now crochet waffle stitch. Continue as follows: Ch 2, 1 FPDC in next dc, 1 dc in next dc, *1 FPDC in next 2 dc, 1 dc in next dc*, rep between ** to end, sl st to dc below. Crochet the remaining 11 sl st with a set of 4 Dc-Cross stitches, 1 dc in sc, sc in sc across to other side, end with sl st in ch 2.

Row 9. Ch 2, crochet 4 sets of DC-cross stitches on top of cross stitches previous row, sl st in ch 2, ch 2, 1 dc in next dc, *1 FPDC in next dc, 1 dc in next 2 dc*, rep between ** to end, sl st to dc below, crochet 4 sets of DC-cross stitches on top of DC-cross stitches, 1 dc in sc, 1 sc in every sc across, sl st in ch 2.

Row 10. Ch 2, crochet 4 sets of DC-cross stitches on top of cross stitches previous row, sl st in ch 2, Ch 2, 1 FPDC in next dc, 1 dc in next dc, *1 FPDC in next 2 dc, 1 dc in next dc*, rep between ** to end, sl st to dc below, crochet 4 sets of DC-cross stitches on top of DC-cross stitches.

Row 11. Crochet 4 sets of DC-cross stitches on top of cross stitches previous row, 1 sc in ch , 1sc in every dc to end, crochet 4 sets of DC-cross stitches on top of DC-cross stitches, continue crochet DC-cross stitches across dc to other side.

Row 12. Crochet 4 sets of DC-cross stitches on top of cross stitches previous row, 1 sc in sc, continue crochet across sc with Dc-cross stitches, end with sc in sc, crochet sets of DC-cross stitches on top of DC-cross stitches until you reach the beginning row of other side, 1 sc in 1st dc.

Row 13. 1 sc in each sts all around.

Fasten off and turn work inside out.

PS. On the 2nd slipper, reattach yarn on the opposite side of where you are from Row 13. This way, you will create the pattern folding outwards on the other slipper as well.

Round 14. 1 sc in next 10 sc, 1 hdc in next 6 sc, 1 dc in next 3 sc, 1 tr in next 3 sc, 1 dtr in next 3 scs, sk 3 scs, sl st in next sc, turn, 1 sc in next 15 sts, turn, 1 hdc in next 6 sc, 1 dc in next 3 sc, 1 tr in next 3 sc, 1 dtr in next 3 scs, sk 3 scs, sl st in next sc, turn, 1 sc in 15 sts, sk 2 scs, 1 sc in next sc, no not turn, 1 sc in next sc, *sk 1 sc, 1 sc in next 2 sc*, rep between ** to you reach dtr on the other side. Turn work inside out.

Round 15. *2 FPDC in next 2 sts (in st below sc), 2 BPDC in next 2 sts*, rep between ** 2 times, turn, rep between ** 3 times, turn, rep between ** 3 times, sk 2 sc, sl st in sc, turn, rep between ** 3 times. Fasten off. Fold the flap across and stitch to side of slipper.

Crochet to round 14 as Men’s slippers

Row 14. 1 sc in next 14 sc, Begin crochet Crocodile stitch as follows: ch 4, 1 dc in same st as ch 4, *ch 2, sk 2 sts, 2 dc in next st*, rep between ** 9 times, 1 sc in remaining sts all around.

Row 15. 1 sc in sc, sl st in ch 3 of 4 ch sp, crochet 5 tr down the 3 ch of the 2-tr group, insert hook from left to right (looking directly at the work), crochet 5 tr up the next tr (you have now crocheted a Shell), *sk next 2-tr-group, crochet shell in next 2-tr group*, continue to end, end with sl st in ch sp of last 2-tr group, 1 sc in sc around. Fasten off.

Row 16. Attach blue colored yarn in middle of shell: *1 bullion block stitch in same st as sl st, sl st in 2 ch sp* continue to end of crocodile stitches, sl st in every sc around, sl st in 1st crocodile stitch.
