How to Crochet Chain Loop Stitch ~ A Crochet Stitch Tutorial

Crochet Stitches used:

Chain (ch)

Single crochet (sc)

Extended Single Crochet (exsc)

Foundation Row (FR)

Chain Loop Stitch Instructions

This example uses US stitch abbreviation.

To crochet Loop Stitch, chain any number of chains, and add 2 for foundation chain. In this example, Ch 15.

FR: Ch 15, turn, exsc in 3rd ch from hook, exsc in every ch to end. Turn.

Row 1. Ch 1, 1 sc in front loop of 1st exsc, *ch 6, 1 sc in front loop of next exsc*, repeat between ** to end, ending with 1 sc in front loop of last exsc.

Row 2. Ch 1, exsc in empty loop of 1st exsc 2 rows below, 1 exsc in empty loop of each exsc 2 rows below  all the way to end, turn.

Repeat row 1 and 2.
