What is so great about Hairpin crochet?

Well, what isnt’ great about it!!! Hairpin crochet is my favourite crochet art form. It is amazing, quick, and so relaxing, and I freestyle with it all the time. I never know what I am making. The pieces create themselves. How exciting! They are born from somewhere deep inside of me and I always feel liberated by the pieces. I use all type of yarn and hooks, from chunky yarn to finer lace yarn. Check out the Hairpin Crochet Gypsy Poncho.
