How to Crochet Fish ~ Free Crochet Amigurumi

This is an adorable crochet pattern of a Fish with glitter fins and a funky Mohawk.

100 % Cotton white yarn.

100 % acrylic feather yarn orange.

Crochet Fish head and body.

With white yarn and crochet hook size 2.5

FR. Ch 10, sl st in ch 1. 15 dc in ring, sl st in 1st dc.

Row 1. Dc in dc.

Row 2. 2 dc in next 4 dc, dc in dc until last 4 dc, 2 dc in remaining 4 dc.

Row 3. Dc in dc.

Row 4. 2 dc in next 8 dc, dc in dc until last 8 dc, 2 dc in remaining 8 dc.

Row 5. Dc in dc.

Row 6. (Dc in next 4 dc, 2 dc tog) x 2, dc in dc until last 12 dc, (2 dc tog, dc in 4 dc) x 2.

Row 7. (Dc in next 3 dc, 2 dc tog) x 3, turn, dc in dc back to the beginning of the row, (dc in next 3 dc, 2 dc tog) x 3, turn, dc in dc back to the beginning of the row.

Row 8. (Dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc tog) x 2, turn, dc in dc back to the beginning of the row, (dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc tog) x 2, turn, dc in dc back to the beginning of the row.

Row 9. Dc in dc to end.

Begin crochet fishtail.

Row 20. Ch 3, (2 tr in next st, dc in next st) x all the way around, sl st in ch 3.

Row 21. Dc in next 2 sts, (1 tr in next st, 2 tr in next st)x 2, 1 tr in next tr, dc in next 5 sts, (2 tr in next st, 1 tr in next st) x 2, dc in remaining sts.

Row 22. Dc in next st, 1 tr in next st, 2 tr in next st, 1 tr in next st, 1 dtr in next 2 sts, dc until last 7 sts, 1 dtr in next 2 sts, 1 tr in next st, 2 tr in next st, 1 tr in next st, dc in next st.

Row 23. Dc in sts until next dtr, (dc in dtr, 3 ch picot in same dc, sl st in same dc) x 2, dc in next sts until next dtr, (dc in dtr, 3 ch picot in same dc, sl st in same dc) x 2, dc to end, sl st in last st. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Crochet fish fins.

Ch 7, turn, 1 tr in 3rd ch from hook, 1 tr in next ch, 1 dtr in next 3 chs. Turn, 3 ch picot, sl st in same st, (sl st in next st, 3 ch picot, sl st in same st) x to last st. Sl st edges to side of fish. Attach white glitter yarn to tail and fins with slip stitch.

With sewing needle and black yarn, stitch eyes.

With Sewing needle and pink yarn, stitch lips.
