<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Row 1. Ch 5, turn, 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in next 2 sc, 5 hdc in last sc, cont crochet unerneath with 1 sc in each sc to end, end with 1 sc in turning ch. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Row 2. 1 sc in next 3 sc, (1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 tr, 1 dc) x 3 in next 3 sts, 1 sc in each sc to end. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Legs (with sparkly blue yarn):</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Make 2. Crochet a 37 chainless single crochet cord. Turn. 1 sc in each sc to end. Cut a 28 gauge aluminium wire in the same length as the crochet legs. Stitch the legs around the aluminium wire so that the leg is bendable. Stitch the foot to the leg. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Hands (with blue yarn)</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">(make 4)</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Row 1. Ch 3, turn, 1 hdc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sl st in same ch, turn, ch 2, sl st in sl st, 1 sc in hdc, (ch 2, 1 sc in hdc) x 3, 2 sc around unworked ch from ch 3. Stitch 2 and 2 together. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Arms: (with sparkly blue yarn):</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Make 2. Crochet a 15 chainless single crochet cord. Turn. 1 sc in each sc to end. Cut a 28 gauge aluminium wire in the same length as the crochet arms. Stitch the arms around the aluminium wire so that the leg is bendable. Stitch the hand to the leg.  </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Head (with blue yarn)</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ch 3, turn, 4 hdc around 3-ch card, cont. crochet underneath: 1 hdc in each 4 hdc. Continue crochet 2 hdc in each 8 hdc, sl st in 1st hdc, 1 hdc in same hdc, 1 hdc in every sts around. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Face (with yellow yarn)</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As head. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Stitch head and face together using a sewing needle. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Body (with sparkly blue yarn):</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Round 1. Ch 2, turn, 10 hdc in 2nd ch from hook. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Round 2-4. 1 hdc in each hdc around. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Round 5. 2 hdc, 1 hdc in remaining hdc. Fill in stuffing. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Round 6. 1 hdc in hdc. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Round 7. 2 hdc tog until hole is closed.  </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Stitch head to body. Stitch legs and arms to body. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Nose (same yarn as face)</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">4 chainless sc cord. Turn. 1 sc in each sc to end. Use a sewing needle and stitch into a ball. Attach to middle of face. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Ears (same yarn as face and nose)</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Make 2. Ch 3, sl st in 1st ch. Stitch to side of face. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Eyes (with navy blue)</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Make 2. Ch 2, turn, 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Stitch into a ball using a sewing needle. Attach to face just above nose and eyes close together. Use a string of white yarn through the navy blue to give the effect of shine in eye. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Leg warmers (use multicolored yarn)</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Make 2. 5 chainless sc cord, turn, 1 sc in each sc to end. Stitch around each ankle. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Wings (use light blue yarn in 100 % cotton):</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Row 1. 14 chainless single crochet cord, turn. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Row 2. 1 sc in next 13 sc. Turn. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Row 3. Sl st in next 2 sc, 1 sc in remaining sc. Turn. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Row 4. *1 hdc in next sc, 3 dc in next sc*, rep between ** 4 times, sl st in next st, 2 sts tog with sl st. Turn. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Row 5. Skip next st, sl st in next 2 sts, 1 sc in next st, 1 hdc in next st, 1 dc in next st, 1 tr in next st, 5 dtr in next st. Turn. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Row 6. 3-ch picot in last dtr, sc in same dtr, sc in each st to end (included sl st). Fold the opening sides together and stitch together using a sewing needle. Attach to the back of doll. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At last but not least, use a sewing needle and feathery red yarn and stitch on the hair. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I made a beautiful clay pendant that I needed a frame for. I had some 28 gauge copper wire and a crochet hook size 1.0 mm. I began by crochet chain 3, then turn and 11 dc in 3rd ch from hook (US stitches). If you get confused between US and UK stitches, don&#8217;t worry. US double crochet is UK treble. Easy :) </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Each round you increase by either 2 dc in each dc or every 2nd dc until the frame is the same size as your pendant. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Then I added an extra row where I did 1 dc in each dc and then I folded it over the edge of the pendant. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At this stage I am crocheting while the pendant is inside the frame and I crochet 2 dc tog with sc. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I fold the stitches over the pendant to hold it in place as much as possible.  </p>

<p>This pattern uses US crochet stitch abbreviation.</p>
<p>The Crochet Dinosaur is made in one go except right at the end when you will fasten off and reattach yarn to crochet the front legs.</p>
<p><strong>Begin crochet the back leg</strong></p>
<p>Crochet Row 1. With 28 gauge copper wire, ch 16, turn, 1 dc in 3rd ch from hook, 1 dc in every ch to end (14).</p>
<p><strong>Begin crochet body</strong></p>
<p>Crochet Row 2 &#8211; 4: Ch 3, 1 dc in next 5 dc. Turn.</p>
<p>Crochet Row 5. Ch 3, 1 dc in next 3 dc, 1 sc in next dc. Turn.</p>
<p><strong>Begin crochet head</strong></p>
<p>Crochet Row 6. Ch 11, turn, 1 dc in 3rd ch from hook, 1 dc in next 7 chs, (leave 2 chs unworked), sl st in ch 3 from row 4, turn and sl st in the 2 ch sp (remaining chs from 11 chs).</p>
<p>Crochet Row 7. Crochet up the body with sc. Fold body over itself so that you can sl st in top of leg.</p>
<p>Crochet Row 8. Sc in sts down the leg until bottom of leg.</p>
<p><strong>Begin crochet foot</strong></p>
<p>Crochet row 9. Ch 3, turn, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, sc in dc up the leg. Crochet sc up the body to where the tail begins (see pic above).</p>
<p><strong>Begin crochet tail</strong></p>
<p>Crochet row 10. Ch 8, turn, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in remaining 6 chs.</p>
<p>Crochet row 11. Crochet sc in dc across back to tip of head.</p>
<p><strong>Begin crochet head</strong></p>
<p>Crochet row 12. Ch 2, hdc in next 3 dc. Bend the tip of head to create a mouth as pic above shows. Fasten off.</p>
<p><strong>Begin crochet front leg</strong></p>
<p>Re-attach in middle of front between head and back leg (see pic above).</p>
<p>Crochet row 13. Ch 5, turn, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in ch to end, sl st in next st on body. Fasten off. Weave in ends.</p>
