Whisk together sifted flour, sugar, baking powder, baking powder.
Add the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk it all together.
Preheat the waffle iron.
Grease Iron with butter (so that batter doesn't get stuck)
Pour the batter onto the preheated waffle iron, spreading it evenly. It is wise to use a ladle.
Close the waffle iron and cook until the waffles are golden brown and crisp. Cooking time may vary depending on your waffle iron.
Remove the waffles from the iron and serve warm. (They are relishes when cold as well) :)
