How to Crochet Arched Square Diagram ~Free Crochet Pattern.
In this pattern, I am using US crochet stitch abbreviation.
Crochet Materials
Crochet hook size 4.0 mm.
Crochet yarn 4 ply 100 % Acrylic: Blue.
Sewing needle.
Crochet Square Instructions
This pattern uses UK stitch abbreviations.
Crochet 8 chs, sl st in ch 1 to form a ring.
Round 1. Ch 3, 2 dc in ring, ch 7, (3 dc, ch 7) x 7 times in ring, sl st in ch 3.
Round 2. Sl st in 7- ch sp, ch 3, 2 dc in same 7-ch sp, ch 2, 3 dc in same 7-ch sp, *ch 7, sk next 7-ch sp, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next 7-ch sp*, repeat between ** twice, ch 7, sk next 7-ch sp, sl st in ch 3.
Round 3. Ch 3, 1 dc in next 2 dc, *(2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in corner sp, 1 dc in next 3 dc, ch 7, 1 dc in next 3 dc*, repeat between ** twice, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in corner sp, 1 dc in next 3 dc, ch 7, sl st in ch 3.
Round 4. Ch 3, 1 dc in next 4 sc, *(2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc), in corner sp, 1 dc in each of next 5 dc, ch 4, 1 sc around 7-ch sp round 1 and enclosing 7-ch sp round 2 and round 3, ch 4, 1 dc in next 5 dc*, repeat between ** 3 more times omitting last 5 tr, end with sl st in ch 3. Fasten off.
Weave in ends using a sewing needle.
