Crochet hook size 3.0 mm
Crochet yarn 100 % acrylic in purple and feathered dark blue.
Scissors.
Sewing needle.
Craft Stuffing.
Crochet Kangaroo Legs ~ Step by Steps.
This Kangaroo legs crochet pattern uses US stitch abbreviation.
Motif 1. Make 2.
Row 1. Ch 5, turn, 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in each sc to end. Turn.
Row 2-17. 1 sc in sc to end. Turn.
Row 18. 2 sc in 1st sc, 1 sc in sc to last sc, 2 sc in last sc. Turn.
Row 19-30. 1 sc in each sc to end. Turn.
Row 31. Crochet across the rows from row 30 to 23. Continue crochet sc in the 7 scs you crochet down from row 30 to row 23.
Row 32 – 39. 1 sc in each 7 sc. Turn.
Row 40. 2 sc in 1st sc, 1 sc in each sc to last sc, 2 sc in last sc. Turn.
Row 41 – 42. 1 sc in each sc to last sc. Fasten off.
Attach feathery blue yarn and crochet sc stitches all around the edge.
Motif 2. Make 2.
Round 1. Ch 2, turn, 8 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sl st in ch 2.
Round 2 – 5. (1 sc in sc, 2 sc in next sc) x rep all around.
Round 6. (1 sc in sc, 2 sc in next sc) x 11. Turn.
Round 7. 1 sc in next 37 sc. Fasten off.
Attach feathery blue yarn and stitch around the edges with sc stitches.
Assemble as follows: 2 of the motif 1 together and fill in craft stuffing. Stitch the sides together. Stitch motif 2s together and fill in craft stuffing at the top. Leave the bottom end open and pull over motif 1s. Secure with stitches.
