How to Crochet Firm Mesh Stitch Tutorial

This pattern uses US stitch abbreviation. 

Firm Mesh Crochet Stitch needs a multiple of 4 sts + 1, add 1 ch for the foundation chain, in this example chain 22.

FR. Ch 22, 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in each ch to end. Turn.

Row 1. Ch 9, sk 1st 4 sc, 1 sl st in next sc, turn, 1 sc in each of next 3 ch, * ch 6, sk next 3 sc of the previous row, 1 sl st in next sc, turn, 1 sc in each of next 3 ch*, repeat between ** to end. Turn.

Row 2. Ch 1, 1 sc in same sc as ch 1, *1 sc in each of next 3 ch, 1 sc in same ch as the top of sc of stem*, repeat between ** to end, ending last sc in 3rd of 3 empty ch at beginning of the previous row, turn.

Repeat row 1 and 2.
