Make over the cord foundation 20 dc on the two horizontal loops of the bottom dc stitches. Cut the cord foundation and turn the work. Ch 4, 1 dc in the 2nd dc, (ch 3, 1 dc in the 2nd dc) x 9, turn, ch 5, 1 dc in the 1st 3 ch sp, (ch 3, 1 dc in the next 3 ch sp) x 9, turn, ch 4, 1 dc in the 1st loop, (ch 2, 1 dc in next 3 ch sp) x 9, ch 1, turn. Crochet 30 dc over the cord foundation on the lower dc stitches. Cut the cord foundation and turn the work.
