Make a slip knot. Ch 1, sc in ring until you can not fit any more scs in round. Continue crochet over the round of scs with another round of scs. Repeat a third time of scs. Now the eye ‘button’ is folding slightly inwards. Use the inwards side of buttons outwards so that the doll eyes can sit within the buttons. Stitch eye ‘buttons’ on Snail.
