Crochet Lace Head band Pattern

Crochet Materials:

Lacey yarn.

Crochet Hook size 3.0 mm.

Sewing needle.

Scissors.

Crochet Lace Head Band Instructions.

This pattern uses US stitch abbreviation.

Beg-3 sc-shell: Ch 3, (yo, insert hook in next tr, yo, draw up a loop, yo, draw through 2 loops on hook)x2, yo, draw through all 3 loops on hook.

3-sc shell: (yo, insert hook in next tr, yo, draw up a loop, yo, draw through 2 loops on hook)x3, yo, draw through all 4 loops on hook.

Half-circle one:

Foundation: Ch 10, join to form a ring. CH 4 (acting as the first dc), 17 dc in ring. 18 dc all up.

1. Beg-3 sc-shell, *ch 6, 3-sc shell*, repeat between ** 5 times, turn.

2. Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st 6-ch sp, *ch 2, 2 sc*, repeat between ** 3 times in same 6-ch sp, *2 sc in next 6-ch sp, (ch 2, 2 sc) x 3*, repeat between ** 4 times, (sl st, ch 10, sl st) in top of last 3-dc shell of previous row, turn.

Half-circle two:

3. Ch 4, 17 dc in ring. Turn.

4. Beg-3 sc-shell, *ch 6, 3-sc shell*, repeat between ** 5 times, sl st in 10-ch sp of previous half-circle, turn.

5. Ch 1, *2 sc in first 6-ch sp, *ch 2, 2 sc*, repeat between ** 3 times in same 6-ch sp, *2 sc in next 6-ch sp, (ch 2, 2 sc) x 3*, repeat between ** 4 times, (sl st, ch 10, sl st) in top of last 3-dc shell of previous row, turn.

Repeat creating half-circle one and half-circle two until the headband reaches from one ear to the other.

Attach 3 strands of yarn each side of the headband and tie it behind your head.
